Rents Hit Fresh Record at £1,577 a Month

Rents have surged to a new all-time high, averaging £1,577 per month. Not long ago, they were still under £1,000. Over the past year, rents have climbed 3% nationwide, with the steepest rise in the North West, where they’re up 10%.
