The latest ONS data shows a lot of what you’d expect: prices rising by 2.8%, rental growth strong but levelling off. But it also highlights an incredible disparity in rental growth: 9.2% in the North East, versus just 3.4% in Yorkshire (with the South East not being bottom of the pile, for once).
