An interesting side-point from the news last week that all short-term lets will be forced to join a registration scheme: this will cause big problems for anyone using a normal buy-to-let mortgage to rent out a property as serviced accommodation. Why? Because the lender will need to be informed as part of the application process. I’m sure no Pulse readers will be doing that, though…
