A last-minute amendment to the Renters’ Rights Bill means landlords still can’t unreasonably refuse pets – but now they also won’t be allowed to require tenants to pay for pet insurance. Personally, I’m thoroughly over the entire process and just looking forward to everything being finalised so we can start planning how to deal with it.
