Landlords Doubt Courts Can Cope with Renters’ Rights Bill Fallout

The government insists the courts will be ready for the surge in cases the Renters’ Rights Bill is expected to generate. But landlords aren’t convinced: 96% have little or no confidence in the system’s ability to cope, according to an NRLA survey. With the average time to regain possession already exceeding seven months, their skepticism is growing.
